Time to move on, leaving the busy city behind we headed for Ararat. A camp spot on Green hill lake appears ok to use as a base while we explore the Grampians and surrounds.
For a small donation, hot showers and water are provided, as well as a safe, picturesque, place to stay. The weather is being so good to us ,with lovely sunsets over the lake each evening.
Rather hot days, but mild nights, and still no rain ! We ended up staying here 6 nights. met some other friendly couples and did lots of walking and sightseeing.
